Bananas are the most popular diet food, but there are many other reasons why you should eat a banana a day.
Bananas could save your life, they prevent asthma like symptoms. Studies show when a child eats a banana a day, wheezing goes down by 34%, while children that had less than one banana had more symptoms.

High blood pressure effects many Americans, and one very good way to prevent that would be to eat a banana a day. Bananas are high in potassium, and potassium has positive effects on your blood pressure.

“Before a workout I eat two bananas, whether it be before my wrestling practice, a quick jog, or when I go to the gym.” Bel Air High School Wrestler Troy Dureza explained. “I feel so much better before and after my workouts.”

If you are not a fan of milk, you better be eating a banana a day. The potassium rich bananas not only help your blood pressure, but it strengthens your bones. Bananas also hold 16% of your daily manganese intake, which helps prevent arthritis.

“I eat a banana before every football game and I have never gotten a cramp.” exclaimed Bel Air High Football Player Noah Beyers. “I have also never broken a bone which I’m grateful for because it allows me to stay in the game.”
