On February 14th, people around the world will celebrate Valentine’s Day, the day of showing “love and affection.” A fun and delicious way to show your friends, family and/or significant other that you love them is to make them a homemade treat! Make these treats with anyone you want to have a fun-filled Valentine’s Day with. Everyone loves a yummy treat.

First treat on the list is Chocolate Covered Strawberries:

First, make sure the strawberries are washed and dried off completely. Melt chocolate in a saucepan until it is liquid-like. Then, dip the strawberries in the chocolate; allow excess to drip. Then, place on pan covered by cookie sheet. Once all strawberries are on the pan, place in fridge until ready to eat! Will usually take up to 30 minutes.

A good idea is to add different color chocolate designs to the strawberries, like pink or red hearts.

Next, My favorite and possibly the easiest treat is chocolate Covered Pretzels:

First, melt red, pink or white chocolate in the microwave until it is like a liquid. Then, dip pretzels in the chocolate making designs such as stripes, polka dots or hearts. After, add any sprinkles, let them sit while they dry. Lastly, enjoy!

Finally, the Last treat on my list is a Valentine’s Day Milkshake:

For this creamy milkshake, you will need 2 cups of strawberry ice cream, 1-2 cups of milk, and 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam. Blend all ingredients into a blender until thick and smooth.

Add toppings to add to the pink milkshake like strawberries and whipped cream.
