Jacob Thompson is a nine-year-old little boy who lives in Portland, Maine. He loves penguins, Star Wars, Minecraft, and Legos. Jacob has been diagnosed with stage four high-risk Neuroblastoma, which is a rare type of cancerous tumor that has spread to his head, including on the membrane between his skull and his brain.

On Wednesday, October 11, 2017 Jacob was admitted to the hospital after starting a round of chemotherapy and radiation that held no signs of helping him. Jacob’s doctors say that he will most likely not survive to see Christmas this year. His family has decided to celebrate Christmas early, and reached out asking that people send Christmas cards to the address below.
