For many people, their favorite time of the year is fall. The chilly weather coming means it’s time for pants, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. Every year, there is something going on or a place to go to, to make your fall one to remember. For those of you who love the beach, the warm weather, and the sun, and aren’t too happy about the season changing well here’s some ideas for you to have just as much fun this fall!

With Halloween coming up, Legends of the Fog is a great place to go with your friends or family. Go through many attractions, while people try their best to scare you with creepy voices, overdone makeup, and even chainsaws. It’s all part of the fun. The attractions include a Farewell Hotel, Cornstalkers, the Haunted Hayride, and Sinister Circus. General Admission is $30 a ticket but is definitely worth the money! Go during the Halloween season, Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 or 10:00 P.M.

Another thing to do during the Halloween season is make treats! Gather some friends, go to the store, and buy whatever you can to make Halloween treats. A good idea is to make a Halloween gingerbread house aka a haunted house. Buy a gingerbread house from the store and make it as spooky as you want. You could also decorate cookies, using orange and black icing to coat the cookies and add whatever toppings you would like. Whatever treats you want to make, it could also be fall colors! This fall will be pretty sweet with these treats added to your to do list.

For those of you who don’t want to be spooked this fall, there’s another option called Maize Quest.  Maize Quest is a cheaper option and more kid friendly but still fun no matter your age. General admission is only $12. Attractions include the Giant Corn Maze, the pumpkin patch with wagon ride, the Trackless Train, and the new jump zone. Waiting at the end of the maze, for whenever you get out, are 30 different attractions to do including a huge slide and pedal karts, so go see for yourself how fun Maize Quest is!

No matter what you decide to do this fall, be sure make it a fun filled season.
