A Few Fall Activities

Now that fall has finally arrived, and the weather has gotten a little cooler and Halloween has already come and gone, it’s time to start thinking of things to do during the last full month of fall-time fun!

Some outside activities include:

  • Going apple picking

There are a couple of places around Bel Air where you can go apple picking. Lohr’s Orchard in Churchville is one of my favorite places to go this time of year. You can also pick out some different berries as well. When heading into their store, they sell apple cider and pumpkins too. They also sell different jams, honey, salsa!

There is also an Applewood farm in Whiteford. You can go pumpkin picking here and enjoy spending quality time with your family and friends.

  • Go for a hayride

The Applewood farm has several activities you can partake in outside. You can go on continuous hayrides, find your way through a corn maze, and even enjoy a nice lunch in their picnic area. For younger kids, they also have an Applewood playground.

  • Tailgate at a football game

Now that football is in season, a great way to keep yourself busy is to tailgate at a football game. This is a great way to enjoy some time with your friends, even family. Going to your high school games, or even different college games, can be so much fun!

Some fun inside activities:

Those who aren’t a big fan of being outside as much during this kind of weather can choose to bake some different things that run in the fall season. Including…

  • Apple or pumpkin pie
  • Chili
  • Butternut squash soup

These are just some fun activities to do around Bel Air, or just at home. Fall is a great season to spend with the people in your life, and there are many ways to do so
