Fall is rapidly approaching and Halloween is near. To get into the Halloween spirit, many people enjoy the fear associated with attending a haunted house.
Recently, I had the terrifying pleasure of visiting Field of Screams. It is a fairly easy location to navigate to, just an hour and twenty minutes from Bel Air.
Field of Screams has three attractions. The two walk-through attractions, Den of Darkness and Frightmare Asylum, were spine-chilling. In the Den of Darkness, an eerie little girl forced me to crawl through a pitch black passageway. Thankfully, I had my friends with me or I may nearly have had a panic attack. I was chased out of the Den by insane monsters holding chainsaws!
The Frightmare Asylum was equally terrifying. In every corner of the Asylum, something is waiting to greet or eat you. At each twist and turn, you encounter surprise after surprise, none of which are pleasant. I was even shocked to hear some of the monsters yelling my name! The third attraction is the Haunted Hayride, which I found to be one of the best haunted hayrides I’ve ever been on. It was a long twenty minute experience during which you encounter slaughter house butchers, chemically infected creatures, deranged clowns, and chainsaw maniacs! The intimidating monsters are not afraid to get in your face in order to evoke blood-curdling screams. Many new unexpected devices lie along the path of this haunted hayride to instill fear that you haven’t experienced anywhere else.
A pass for all three attractions is reasonably priced at twenty-eight dollars. You definitely get your money’s worth and then some! Field of Screams also offers a variety of food, games, and entertainment.
A fast pass is offered for ten dollars extra to beat the long lines. Another way to beat the crowds is to get there early and purchase tickets ahead of time online.
For a chilly and eerie experience this fall, Field of Screams will not be disappointed at!
