Os Continue to Impress

Maryland’s favorite baseball team had a decent start to the season with a record of 9-7, which gave hope to the fans of Baltimore after their continuous struggles since the 2016 season.

Since the last update on the O’s, they have had an incredible record of 6-1 which brings them to 15-8 on the season. Until their 6-8 loss to the Boston Red Sox yesterday April 25th, Baltimore was on a 6-game win streak.

Their loss yesterday is not a reason for concern for the young team as the series with the Red Sox is currently tied 1-1, considering they just came off a 2-0 sweep against the Washington Nationals and a 3-0 sweep against the Detroit Tigers, the Orioles have no reason to fret.

After this impressive start to the season, the Orioles currently sit at 2nd in the AL East and 2nd overall in the American League as a whole. This is a very impressive feat considering they just had a 110-loss season just two years ago.

As it often goes, this young team still must prove itself to many of its critics, despite having one of the best records in the MLB right now, they barely reach the top 10 in most power rankings from different news sources as the competition that they have come up against hasn’t been the greatest so far this season.

The Orioles have another match-up this afternoon against the Boston Red Sox at 1:30 (pending on the weather) to decide who takes this series.

Despite critics and doubters, the Baltimore Orioles and their fans have a lot to look forward to this season as the team continues to show a lot of promise and skill to the league.
