Lady Bobcats LAX Host Tournament

Last Saturday, April 15, the Bobcats’ Girls Lacrosse team took on a “close and competitive competition,” during the Clash of Counties tournament, says Coach Kristen Barry. The teams the lady Bobcats faced were “strong caliber teams” and with our “new growing team” the games could have gone in either favor, according to Barry.

Even though the outcomes of the games were not in the Bobcats’ favor, the players on the team showed extreme dedication and passion for the sport they love.

Senior Brooke Keesey says that this season the girls have been showing “energy effort and desire” in every game and their team is reaching their goals one day at a time.

Overall, this game both strengthened the physical ability and emotional ability of the athletes and gives them hope for the rest of the season, despite the losses. The Lacrosse team plays next at home against North Harford High School tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18.
