The #7 Bel Air Bobcats (12-1) celebrated Senior Night with a win over Perryville on Tuesday (27-29, 25-12, 25-15, 25-18).  All six seniors contributed to the win led by senior outside Megan Cassaday (12 kills, 2 aces), and senior right-side Jaydn Betters (8 kills, 1 block).  Senior middle hitter Anaiah Lewis (5 kills), senior libero and middle hitter Brooke Keesey (1 kill), senior outside Lexi Bell (2 kills, 1 ace), and senior setter Kendall Marx (6 assists, 2 aces) also helped the Bel Air team surge ahead of the Panthers.  The younger Bobcats also contributed led by junior outside Kayden Hardenbrook (8 kills, 1 ace), sophomore setter/right-side Anna Kane (4 kills, 21 assists, 1 ace, 1 block), junior setter Tia Pegler (18 assists, 2 kills, 4 aces), junior middle hitter Brooke Hopkins (3 kills), junior middle hitter Keira Tyndall (2 kills, 2 blocks), junior Megan Schindhelm (2 aces), and freshman Julie Stillwagon (1 ace).  The passing and defense have been a staple for the team all year and was led by Keesey, Bell, Cassaday and Schindhelm.

Prior to the game the seniors were honored in front of the home crowd.  Vice Principal Jason Redmond and Athletic Director Craig Reddish also congratulated the team on their third consecutive Chesapeake Division championship in the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference (UCBAC).  Over those 3 championship seasons, the team is 35-1 in the conference with their only loss coming earlier this season.  Bel Air concludes the regular season with an away match at Fallston on Friday, October 28.  It will be Fallston’s Dig Pink match and an important match for momentum as both teams advance into the State Playoffs the following week.  Varsity 6:30pm / JV 5:15pm.
