Lady Bobcats Defeat Fallston in 5 Set Match

The #9 Bel Air Bobcats (7-0) were able to rally back against Fallston and stay unbeaten on Tuesday, October 4th (21-25, 25-12, 20-25, 25-20, 15-8).  The Bobcats dominated in kills (55 to 28) but errors by the home team helped give Fallston the advantage with two sets to play.  The kill leaders for Bel Air were senior middle Anaiah Lewis (13 kills, 3 blocks), senior outside Megan Cassaday (10 kills, 2 aces), senior outside Lexi Bell (10 kills), sophomore setter/right-side Anna Kane (9 kills, 4 aces, 25 assists, 1 block), and senior right-side Jaydn Betters (8 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks).  Junior setter Tia Pegler led the way with 30 assists.  The Bobcats got more help from junior middle hitter Brooke Hopkins (3 kills, 2 blocks), junior defensive specialist Megan Schindhelm (3 aces), and freshman outside hitter Julie Stillwagon (1 kill, 1 ace).  The passing and defensive effort was led by Bell, Cassaday, Schindhelm, and senior libero Brooke Keesey (1 kill). The Bobcats host another strong team from Bo Manor this Thursday, October 6th.  Varsity 5p / JV 3:30p.

The Bobcats have won 27 straight matches at home (starting in 2018).  They have won 31 straight UCBAC conference matches (starting in 2019).
