The varsity cheer team placed first, yet again, and were named UCBAC champions at C. Milton Wright for their Harford/Cecil county cheer competition on Tuesday October 22, 2019.

The Bobcats went against many rival teams including C. Milton Wright, Patterson Mill, and Harford Tech.

The varsity cheerleaders also placed first at their other two competitions and were proud to say that they are currently undefeated.

“We are UCBAC champions,” said senior cheerleader, Diana Riggs after the Bobcats were awarded heir title.

The team hit a near perfect routine, and enjoyed watching their competitors compete via the Harford County Cable Network.

“Despite all the stress that comes along with competing, all the teams encourage and support each other which really creates a positive environment and makes the competitions so much more fun,” said sophomore Madison Kormanis.

Since the team placed first, they will he heading off to Semis on Saturday November 2, 2019 at Harford Community College. 

The team continues to work hard everyday and hopes to keep their winning streak going in future competitions.
