BAXC Dominates Perryville and Rising Sun

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019 the Bel Air Cross Country team ran at Perryville High School. 

The Bel Air Cross Country team ran against Rising Sun and Perryville High School, coming in first overall for both the girls and boys. 

The girls came in first with a score of 17. With sophomore Mackenzie Morrison coming in first with a time of 18:52. Followed by sophomore Elizabeth Pickett with a time of 19:45 and senior Rebekah Cross with a time of 19:59. 

“All the girls ran super well,” said junior Kylie Mika!

The boys came in first with a score of 15. With senior Caleb Zylka coming in first with a time of 17:05. Followed by senior Andrew Giordano with a time of 18:10 and sophomore Shane Ivy with a time of 18:11. 

“It went pretty well! We weren’t really supposed to go fast, but it was fun,” said junior Matthew Reynolds!

The cross country team will be running at UCBACS Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Churchville Rec Center. Let’s go Bobcats!
