Cheerleading Places 2nd at Dulaney Invitational

The Bel Air High School JV and Varsity Cheerleaders competed at Dulaney High School for their second invitational of the winter season.

Both JV and Varsity competed at the Dulaney Invitational. For JV, this was their last competition of the 2018-2019 winter season. The Bel Air High School JV Cheerleaders competed first and went against three other JV teams. These teams included Perry Hall, Thomas Johnson, and Glen Burnie. The Bel Air JV Cheerleaders placed third.

The Bel Air Varsity Cheerleaders went up against 12 teams. These teams included Pikesville, North Harford, Lakey, Catonsville, Annapolis, Dulaney, Glen Burnie, Perry Hall, Owings Mills, and Thomas Johnson. The Bel Air Varsity Cheerleaders placed second.

“This season was great! We put out our best at both of our competitions this season and I can’t wait to see what next season has in store for us,” said Maddie Markoff, Bel Air’s JV captain.

The Bel Air Varsity cheerleaders will continue with their season through UCBACS, Regionals and States. For the JV cheerleaders, this is the end of their season. At the Dulaney Invitational, Perry Hall Varsity placed first with Bel Air Varsity only two points behind.

“I can not wait to see what we put out on the mat for UCBACS. We are such a close group of girls and it definitely shows on the mat. The rest of this season should be amazing!” said Gabby Pasko, a Bel Air Varsity Cheerleader.
