Boys’ Volleyball Falls to C. MIlton After Two Straight Playoff wins

On October 24, 2018, the Bel Air High School Boys’ Volleyball Team won their first-round playoff game against Edgewood High School 3-0, and on October 29, 2018, Bel Air defeated North Harford High School 3-1, in the second round of the playoffs.

On October 24, the Bel Air High School Varsity Volleyball Team defeated the Edgewood Rams, 3-0, in the first round of the county Playoffs. Bel Air made quick work of the Rams and advanced to the semifinals of the county playoffs.

On October 29, the Bobcats defeated the North Harford Hawks, 3-1, in the Semi-Finals of the County playoffs. The Bobcats advanced to the county championship game where thy would play the C. Milton Wright Mustangs.

“We worked really hard all season, and were hyped up for the County Championship Game,” said Varsity Boys Volleyball player Micah Ernest.

The Bobcats after a long season of hard work took on the Mustangs for the third time this season, hoping to beat them when it mattered most. But the Bobcats lost in the fifth set, 3-2, ending their season.

“Both teams played extremely hard but losing in the championship game really stung since we came so close to winning,” said Varsity Volleyball player Jeremy Ginley.

The Bobcats fought hard all season, despite coming up short in the County Championship. They will look to continue the success they had this season into next season.
