On Friday, January 26, 2018 and Wednesday, January 31, 2018, the Boys’ Basketball team went up against Rising Sun and North East for their 13th and 14th games of the season. They played Rising Sun at home and took the win, but unfortunately lost the game away at North East.

First, the team stayed on their home court as they took on Rising Sun. They were coming off of a loss against Bo Manor, so they were out for vengeance. After an intense match with plays from Josh Munley, Zach Liberto, Hunter Hruz and more, the Bobcats were able to secure a victory with a final score of 84-69.

Then, as they were coming off a previous win, the Bobcats traveled to North East where they took on the Eagles. After some excellent plays from both teams, North East was unfortunately able to take the win with a final score of 56-37, giving the Bobcats another loss.

“It’s too bad we weren’t able to take the win over North East but I’m glad we were able to beat Rising Sun”, said Varsity player, Brandon Kestner.

The team now has a record of 10-4 after the split week. They had a rough start to their season as they lost their first few practices, but are starting to collect some wins, as they get further into the season.

“It is cool to see the team starting to win some games”, said Varsity Girls Basketball player, McKenna Reiswig.

The Bobcats will hope to get back to their winning ways in their next matchup.
