Boys’ Basketball Takes Losses to C. Milton and Howard

The Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball teams went up against C. Milton Wright and Liberty High School for their second and third games of the season. They played C, Milton Wright at home on Thursday, December 7, 2017 and Liberty away on Monday, December 7, 2017. Both games resulted in a loss.

Junior Varsity came into C. Milton Wright territory coming off from a previous win against Fallston. The game was at 5:15 pm at home. They played a close and exciting game, but were unable to take the win, finishing the game with a final score of 39-46.

Then, on Monday at 5:30 pm, they went against Liberty for their third game of the season. They played an intense game, but unfortunately finished the game with a score of 29-39. Some key players in these games include Caden Morris, Mason Bosley, Cameron Lewis and more.

“I am pretty disappointed that we lost these games, but we are all ready to come back for our next game. As long as we keep playing our hardest, we will definitely be able to take another win”, said Junior Varsity player, Jaymes Carrier.

After the Junior Varsity game, Varsity went up against C. Milton Wright at 6:45 pm on Thursday. After playing a long and exciting game, they finished with a final score of 49-69. Some key players in this game include Spencer Sanza, Kieran McDermott, Terrell Brown and more.

“I am pretty disappointed that we lost this game. I really wanted to beat C. Milton, and this was our chance to do it”, said Varsity Boys Basketball player, Brandon Kestner.

On Monday, the team went out to Liberty High School for their third game of the season. The game was important because it was their chance to retaliate against their previous two losses. Unfortunately, they were not able to secure a win, finishing the game with a score of 40-74.

“The Boys Basketball team has the potential of being really good this year! I think they definitely could have a good season”, said Varsity Girls Basketball player, McKenna Reiswig.
