Girls’ Volleyball Fall to Towson in Regional Finals

On Friday, November 10, 2017, the Varsity Girls’ Volleyball team ended their season with a loss to Towson High School in the 3A North Regional finals game of the MPSSAA playoffs.

On Monday, November 6, 2017, The Bobcats started the playoffs with an easy victory against the Edgewood Rams, winning three sets to zero. This game advanced them to the next round of the tournament.

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, the Bobcats played another home game in the playoffs to see what team would advance to the 3A North Regional Finals playoff game. The Bobcats played the C. Milton Wright Mustangs and won 3 sets to one set. This game allowed the Bobcats to play the Towson Generals in the 3A North Regional Final game.  On Friday, November 10, 2017, the Bobcats played their third game of the week against the Towson High School Generals. The Bobcats had their season end at Towson High School, as they lost in three sets

“I’m so proud of the way we have played all season, and how we have played as a team. we have worked really hard, and worked as a team, that’s why we got as far as we did this season, it’s all because of teamwork,” says Varsity Girls’ Volleyball player Olivia Simon.

The Bobcats ended their season with a 14-3 record, and lost to a very good three loss Towson High School team. The Towson Generals saw their season come to an end as they lost to Westminster High school. The 3A MPSSAA State championship will be played between Northern High School and Westminster High School on Friday, November 18, 2017.

“This season we have played as a team, and worked for what we got this season. We have played hard and worked as a team to accomplish goals, and accomplish things we didn’t think we would achieve this season. I’m of what we did this season, and I’m looking forward to next season,” says Varsity Girls’ Volleyball player Brooke Myers.

The Bobcats ended their season with an overall 14-3 record to end the season. The Bobcats will be returning the majority of their team, but will lose two Seniors next season. The Bobcats had a good season, and we wish them good luck for next year.
