Boys’ Volleyball Season Review

The Boys’ Varsity and Junior Varsity Volleyball seasons both ended in November. They both played excellent seasons, as Junior Varsity had a record of 7-5 and Varsity had a record of 12-1.

The Junior Varsity team had a great season winning seven games and losing five. They had beaten Fallston, Aberdeen, Havre De Grace, Patterson Mill and Harford tech. The games they fell short to were Harford Tech, North Harford, and C. Milton Wright.

Varsity however went their entire season winning all but one game. They had taken the win over North Harford, John Carroll, Aberdeen, Havre De Grace, Fallston, C. Milton Wright, Patterson Mill and Edgewood. Unfortunately, the team had just fell short of going undefeated as they lost to C. Milton Wright in their tenth game of the season.

“Both teams had a great season and I am upset that it is over. I cannot wait for next year to start the season back up again”, said Junior Varsity player, Sean Conway.

The Junior Varsity team had many achievements throughout the season as well. They were the first team in eleven years to beat Fallston.

“It is sad that the season is over because I loved managing. I am really excited to see what the team has in store for next year”, said Volleyball manager, Angel Whitaker.

Both teams had put in a lot of work this season and had very successful outcomes. The team is losing eight Seniors, but are gaining many new and talented players. Make sure to support your team as they prepare for next year’s season. Go Bobcats!
