Girls’ Soccer Hammers North Harford

On Thursday, October 5, 2017, the Bel Air Girls’ soccer team traveled to North Harford High School, and came home with a win over the Hawks. The Lady Cats’ won with a score of 5-0.

In hopes of maintaining their consistent winning streak, the Bel Air players had some pretty high expectations for each other.

In the first half, Senior Lexi Kraemer scored the first goal, putting the Bobcats on the board 1-0. The girls played excellent defense as well, keeping their opponents to as scoreless game.

“I feel like we all came together as a team to get this win. We have all worked so hard this season, and it is really starting to pay off.” says Senior defender Gabi Hall.

In this second half, the Lady Cats’ scored four more goals, made by Senior Lexi Kraemer, Senior Elizabeth Hillman, Junior Maddy Crossley, and Sophomore Maggi Hall, securing the win for Bel Air.

“Personally, it felt really accomplishing to score a goal this game, despite it being my second goal of the season,” says Sophomore Forward Maggi Hall. “But as a team, we all did really well and it’s awesome we still have this winning streak going.”

It was another great win for the Lady Cats, in a season full of them.
