On Monday, October 9, 2017, the Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball teams went up against the Patterson Mill Huskies. Both teams went home with a win after Junior Varsity won 2-0 and Varsity won 3-0.

This was Junior Varsity’s eighth game of the season and their fourth win, giving them a new record of 4-4. Players Sean Conway, Brandon Kestner, Jack Thompson and more, made some outstanding plays. The Junior Varsity boys’ volleyball team were able to take the win in only two sets. They won the second set with a score of 25-21.

Varsity was able to take the win in only three sets, defeating the Huskies quickly. This was their ninth game of the season, as well as their ninth win, and they had some excellent plays from players Andrew Sunday, Spencer Sanza, Evan Thatcher, among others.

“Both teams played a great game yesterday. It was cool how Varsity was able to win and keep their winning streak alive”, said Junior Varsity player, Jaymes Carrier.

Varsity now has an undefeated season with a record of 9-0 remaining as the only undefeated team in the county. There are only four games left before playoffs, where the Varsity team will defend their title as county champions.

“We are doing so well this season. I am excited for playoffs because I think we are in a good position to win the county championships again,” said Varsity manager, Angel Whitaker.

The Boys Volleyball teams are doing great so far in their season, and will hope to continue this momentum throughout the last four regular season games as well as the playoffs.
