Boys’ Volleyball Hot Streak Continues in Havre De Grace

On Monday, October 2nd, 2017 the Bel Air Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball teams went up against Havre De Grace at Havre De Grace High School. Both teams took a win with Bel Air’s Junior Varsity team winning 2-0 and their Varsity team winning with a score of 3-0.

Junior Varsity played at 3:30 P.M. and managed to take down the Warriors in only two sets. This was their seventh game of the season, and the team currently has a record of 3-4. Junior Varsity had an amazing two sets and won the second with a score of 25-10.

Varsity played at 4:30 P.M. and this was their eighth game of the season. Varsity won with a score of 3-0, and were able to take down the Warriors set. The final score of the third set was 25-8.

“Both games were entertaining to watch. This was the first time JV won the first set so it was cool to see us win so quickly”, said Junior Varsity player, Sean Conway.

Varsity has an overall record of 8-0. By winning this game, they were able to keep their undefeated winning streak alive. Bel Air is the only school in the county with an undefeated Varsity Boys Volleyball team thus far.

“It was nice that we were able to come in and win the game so quickly. We were able to win every set for both JV, and so that was nice to watch”, said Varsity Manager, Angel Whitaker.
