The Bel Air Cross Country team competed in Fair Hill, Elkton, MD against Bohemia Manor on Tuesday, September 19^th, 2017 for the 5,000-meter race.

Twelfth grader, Ethan Gray, came in first for Bel Air Boys Cross Country team, but came in 5^th place overall with a time of 19:02. Shelby Hay, a tenth grader from Bel Air High School, came in first for the Bel Air Girls Cross Country Team, and 3^rd overall with a time of 24:10. 

The manager of the Boy’s Cross Country team, Bryson Foye said “Fair Hill was a very tough course, but the team pulled through, and ran a good race.”

Everyone did great at this event, Maya Feick had a personal record of 24:49 performances. Twenty girls were on the leader board from Bel Air and 16 boys were as well. The Bel Air boys ended up falling to Bo Manor to a score of 47 to 16, with the girls team losing to a score 36 to 23.
