The Bel Air Boys’ volleyball teams played away at Harford Technical High School on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Junior Varsity lost the game with a score of 1-2, and Varsity won 3-0.

This was the sixth game of the season for the Bel Air teams, whereas it was only the fourth for Harford Tech. The Junior Varsity team played a tough game where they lost the first set, won the second, and lost the third set with a score of 9-15.

The Bel Air Varsity team played an outstanding game and won in just three sets. They beat the Harford Tech Cobras to 25 points every single time!

“It was disappointing to see JV lose the third set, but they played a great game where they won the second set. It was a close game for varsity during each set. Each team had a good rally back and forth, Bel Air was just able to take the win every time”, said Varsity Volleyball Manager, Angel Whitaker.

So far this season, Junior Varsity has won two games and they have unfortunately have lost four other games. Varsity on the other hand has had an incredible season where they have won every game. The Bobcats are currently the only undefeated team in the county.

“I was pretty disappointed that we lost the third set, after winning the second set, I thought we definitely could win the game. It was awesome seeing varsity win because they played such a good game and it was cool that they kept their winning streak alive”, said Junior Varsity player, Jack Thompson.
