On Wednesday, April 26, the Bel Air Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team traveled to North Harford to take on the Hawks.

Originally, the game was supposed to take place at Bel Air, but due to poor weather conditions, the game was moved to North Harford; the Bobcats were still considered the home team.

The Bobcats got the party started in the bottom of the third inning, as they put up three runs to hand them a 3-0 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, the bobcats added one more to their lead to help them beat North Harford by a final score of 4-0.

“We have been playing great baseball these past few games,” says junior Liam Bowers. “We’ve won three games in a row and we look to win the rest of our games in the regular season.”

Starting pitcher Cameron Kalandros pitched phenomenally against the Hawks, as he started and ended the game, completely shutting out the Hawks. Kalandros struck out six, walked one, and only let up two hits in the entire game.

“We were hitting the ball well today and our defense was also outstanding,” Bowers states. “Especially Cameron who helped led us on the defensive end.”

The Bobcats move to 9-4 on the regular season.
