On Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, the Bel Air Girls’ Volleyball Team took on the Perryville Panthers on their home turf.
The Bobcats played a hard game, but unfortunately lost in three sets.
The team improved a great deal from their previous game, able to read Perryville very well and adjust to their strategies, however are still looking to find their breakthrough.
“I think we played very well as a team and did a great job adjusting when we made mistakes.” Says sophomore middle hitter, Erin Kenney. “We kept up the energy and stuck together as a team throughout the game.”
Sophomore Megan Hoy went on a great serving streak. She had 6 consecutive serves and 0 errors.
“We defiantly improved from last week’s game.” Coach Laura Nieman states. “However, our play revealed that we still have a few things to work on, such as defensive formation and offensive systems. We appreciate the players that really were on their A-game and that helped keep up the intensity for this match.”
The Girls’ Volleyball Team will go on to play their next home game, against Northeast High, on Sept. 22 at 5:00 p.m. Come out bobcats and support your ladies! They need you!!
