On Wednesday, April 13, 2016 our Lady Bobcats traveled to Perryville and lost 2-0. The following Friday, April 15, 2016 the girls traveled to Rising Sun and lost 4-2.

Perryville scored two runs during the game after a crucial error at first base allowing runners to move around the bases. Senior Savannah Meyers, Sophomore Amanda Criss, Sophomore Katrina Theilhorn, and Freshman Ari Dramis all contributed singles throughout the game.

“We played a pretty solid game but we have to make up for a mistake with better hitting,” Shared Senior Captain Savannah Meyers.

Bel Air worked against Rising Sun scoring two runs within 7 innings. Senior Sarah Fleischmann finished the game with two singles, Senior Savannah Meyers hit 2 for 3 with an RBI, Junior Morgan Dvorak had a double, while Freshman Ari Dramis and Sophomore Gwen Markowskit both had singles.

“We have to find a way to execute with runners on base in order to get a winning streak going,” explained Senior Captain Savannah Meyers.

The girls’ next game is home against Bohemian Manor on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 3:30. We hope to see plenty of Bobcat supporters in the stands cheering on the team.
