Bobcats Crush Wildcats

On Monday, Feb. 1, the Boys Varsity Hockey Team traveled to Bowie to face off against the Arundel Wildcats.

The Bobcats finally got out of their slump as they crushed the Wildcats. The start of the first period was very physical, and by the end of the first period, the score was tied at 1 with Bel Air’s goal coming from Senior Colin Dean.

After the first period, it was all Bobcats as they put in 3 goals from Sophomore Tommy Card and Senior Colin Dean once more, completing a hat trick. By the end of the second period, the score was 4-1 Bobcats.

“We came out strong in second period scoring many goals and playing very physical,” said sophomore Aaron Strader.

In the third period, the Bobcats continued their dominance with two more goals from from Junior Keith Gorschboth and Freshman Brandon Javier. The Bobcats crushed the Wildcats with a final score of 6-1.

“Once we got that first goal, we didn’t stop and our great effort and physical play led us to a 6-1 victory,” said Coach Dave Frongillo

The Bobcats improve their season record to 5-3-0.
