On Wed. Jan. 6, 2015, the Bel Air Wrestling team competed in a tri-meet at Fallston High School against Fallston and Harford Tech. The ‘Cats came out on top with a score against Fallston of 49-17 and a score of 56-3 against Harford Tech. The team is undefeated 16-0, a Bel Air High School record.

Senior captains Dakota Crawford and Trevor Proctor, senior Tyler Ham, juniors Tommy Gomez, Sam Queen and Cody Seibel, sophomore Liam Bowers and freshmen Brent Lorin and Jacob Reed all won both of their matches at the meet. Seibel had a quick 1:26 pin against Fallston and Queen had just a 59 second pin, also against Fallston.

Just after the match, Queen said, “Fallston was one of our tougher matches so far on the season. We stayed strong and wrestled smart, only losing 4 matches on the whole night. We’re 16-0 on the season which is the best start in history for BA wrestling.”

The wrestling team will next compete this weekend, Sat. Jan. 9-Sun. Jan. 10, 2016 in a tournament at C. Milton Wright. There will be lots of tough competition, so be sure to come support your Bobcats!
