On Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 our Varsity Lady Bobcats faced off against the Perry Hall Eagles, winning 55-40.

The girls came out strong offensively, scoring 31 points within the first half, dominating Perry Hall’s 20 points. Senior Anna Puntanen led the Bobcats, scoring 12 points over the course of the game. Bel Air continued strong, scoring 24 points in the second half, while the opposition scored another 20.

Head Coach Skelton shared: “Offensively, last night we did a great job of playing team basketball. For the first time since I’ve been coaching, I had four players in the double digits. We still need to work on the team defensively. Energy during the game was high, we play hard, and now we need to work on playing smart.”

The girls’ next game is home against Joppatowne High School on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 at 6:45 p.m. We hope to see plenty of Bobcat fans cheering on the girls from the stands!
