Boys’ Soccer Kicks Their Way to UCBAC Chamionships

On Thursday, Oct. 29, Bel Air Boys’ Varsity Soccer went up against the Kenwood Blue Birds, defeating Kenwood with a score of 2-0.

Bel Air was impressive in the first half, outplaying Kenwood and taking many shots on the net. The first goal of the game came from Junior Ryan Albright, putting Bel Air up 1-0 with just 8 seconds left in the first half.

At the end of the first half the score was 1-0 Bobcats. The Bobcats stayed in control of the game, leading Senior Jacob Vasquez to score at the very end of the second half, finalizing the Bobcats win, 2-0.

Senior Ryan Wills commented about his team’s performance saying, “I think we played well. We did what we had to do. We finished our opportunities and came out with the win.”

The Bobcats eliminated the Kenwood Blue Birds with a final score of 2-0. Their next game is on Tuesday Nov. 3, where they will travel to Catonsville to take on the Comets.

Senior Ryan Wills commented about the next round of the playoffs. “I think we are prepared and ready to take on Catonsville.”
