Bel Air Football Team Takes Down North Harford

On Friday, Oct. 23, the Bel Air Bobcats defeated the North Harford Hawks with a score of 56-27 in an extreme offensive battle.

North Harford started off strong with a touchdown on the opening drive, but Bel Airs’ potent offense retaliated with a touchdown of their own on a 4 yard run by senior, Evan Hulse.

Both teams battled for the advantage, but the Bobcats took a commanding lead and did not give it up for the remainder of the night.

“Our lineman played great, and the backs followed their blocks all night. It was great to beat a good team like North Harford, especially on their homecoming,” said Junior Alex Muneses.

The defense gave up a few points early, but made some second half adjustments to help stop the Hawks run game and force turnovers, giving the ball back to offense.

“The adjustments we made at halftime really produced results in the third and fourth quarter,” said Senior Jimmy Nicol.

The Bobcats take on another tough opponent this Friday, Oct. 30, at Bobcat Stadium. It is senior night so come out and support your Bobcats in the last home game of the regular season. Go Bobcats!
