On Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, the BAHS cross country team ran in the Harford County Championship meet at Tollgate Park against five other schools. The boys’ team placed second and the girls’ team placed third.

Sophomore Kieran McDermott led the boys’ team with a first place personal record time of 15:38. Following McDermott was Senior captain Austin Weiss in seventh place with a time of 16:53 and Sophomore Ethan Gray in twelfth place with a personal record time of 17:20.

Senior Morgan Smith led the girls’ team with a personal record time of 20:24 in seventh place. Shortly behind Smith was sophomore Paige Blaker in sixteenth place with a personal record time of 21:36 and senior captain Joy Hayward in eighteenth place with a personal record time of 21:53.

Senior captain Hailey Snyder said, “I am so proud of the whole team today! So many people beat their personal record times and placed…I can’t wait for our next meet!”

BAXC will race in the UCBAC Championship on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at Tollgate Park. Come out and support your Bobcats!
