On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team matched up against the Patterson Mill Huskies on the Bobcat’s Senior Night.

It was a rough start for the Bobcats, as the Huskies dominated the first 20 minutes of the game, slipping in a goal just 8 minutes into the game. The Huskies were excellent, as the offense put up many shots.

The tables turned when the Bobcats dominated the last 20 minutes of the first half. Sophomore Vince Rose scored with 7 minutes remaining to tie the game up at 1.

Captain Blake Hardesty commented about the first half. “We definitely did not play up to our potential, but we got it together to come back out and win.”

The second half was all Bobcats, when Junior Ryan Albright scored 6 minutes into the second half. The Bobcats lacked shots goal opportunities in the second half. The Bobcats took the win with a final score of 2-1.

Senior Blake Hardesty talked about his final game as a bobcat saying, “It’s horrible knowing that I won’t have something to prove next season. I won’t be here, but I know my boys will step up.”

Come out and support the Bobcats for their last game in the regular season against John Carroll on Monday, Oct. 26, at Bobcat Stadium.
