On Tuesday Oct. 13, Bel Air Boys’ Varsity Soccer took on C. Milton Wright Mustangs.

The game started out as a defensive battle between the two teams with the Mustangs in control of the ball. However, 10 minutes remaining in the second half, Junior Noah Rusinko scored, putting the Bobcats up 1-0.

At the end of the first half the score was 1-0, Bobcats. The lead did not last long as the Mustangs scored, evening out the scoreboard at 1-1.

Captain Blake Hardesty commented about the first half, “I think we played great. Even though we didn’t have the ball much, that was our game plan, we wanted them to make mistakes and force those long balls.”

With 26 seconds remaining in overtime junior Gray Harper scored to defeat the Mustangs 2-1!

Blake Hardesty commented about the win saying, “It feels great considering we deserved the win and we came out with that mentality.”

Hopefully the Bobcats can stay in the win column for the remainder of the season.
