On Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, the boys’ varsity soccer team tied their first game against Severna Park with a final score of 0-0.

The game was mainly a hard fought defensive game between the two teams. Both teams’ goal keepers played a very good game.

There were a few scoring opportunities for Bel Air, but they could not seem to find the back of the net. Bel Air’s defense on the other hand shut down Severna Park, hardly allowing even a shot on the net.

Coach Dominic Rose said “We actually did very well, performing above expectations against a high quality Severna Park team. I’m excited about where we are at this point.”

About three minutes into the second half, lightning struck delaying the game a half an hour. Eventually the referee called the game.

Coach Dominic Rose said, “It was actually considered a full game, cancelled in the 37 minute of the second half.”
