On Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, the BAHS Cross Country team ran in the Regional Championship Meet at Tollgate Park. The Boys’ team placed third and will be going to states. The Girls’ team placed fifth and Senior Emily League will be going to states.

Freshman Kieran McDermott had the leading time for the boys’ team of 16:00.6 and placed fourth, closely followed by Junior Austin Weiss with a time of 16:50.2 placing 15^th. Senior Emily League had the leading time for the girls’ team of 20:18.0 and placed 14^th with Junior Meghan Thompson shortly following with a time of 21:01.0 and placing 24^th.

Senior Emily League said, “Almost everyone PR’d at Regionals and it was an incredibly fast race. The team did amazing!”

The State Meet will be on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Hereford High School.
