On Thursday, Sep. 25, the Bel Air Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team took on the Havre De Grace Warriors in Bel Air’s 7^th game of the season, playing not only very well within the county, but also outside. The Bobcats improved their record to 7-0.

With goals scored by Anthony Sampayo and Zach Memmo, the Bobcats led 2-0 at half. Later, a second goal scored by Anthony Sampayo secured the win at 3-0, as Bobcat goalie Garret Lorenz recorded his 5^th shutout of the year behind Bel Air’s solid Defense. This very intense and physical game led to 5 yellow cards, mostly on the Warriors’ end. As the Bobcats remain undefeated, the expectations for this year continue to grow higher and higher.

Captain Logan Szekalski responded on how the team will deal with as the pressure begins to rise. “We aren’t letting it get to us, we are paying like every game like playoffs and we will continue to do so. No matter what the record shows we are taking on each opponent as if they have the same record as us”.
