On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Boys’ Volleyball kicked their season off with a win in their scrimmage against Aberdeen, with a score of 3 matches to none.

With last year’s record of 7-7, Coach Tsomos hopes his team will undergo “through practice and hard work will become a unit sort of speaking where they can work together without any glitches. This is a component team–a talented team–we just need to become one as a group. It is crucial in volleyball to know when what the other player is about to do. Within our movement on the court, we always need to be aware of each other and that can be achieved through practice. We just want to entertain the people who come and watch us. We want to play the best game we can play every single day.”

Senior Josh Bavis says, “Accurate passing and chemistry will make the team successful this year. Knowing, passing and hitting tendencies as well as knowing their spot on the floor.”
