On Friday, October 11th the Varsity Football team will play in their second home game of the season against the Havre De Grace Warriors. This will be the Bobcats first home game in nearly a month; they played their last three games on the road
The Bobcats, coming off of a 45-42 loss against Perryville last week, will enter Friday night’s game with a 3-2 record while the Warriors will enter the game with a 2-3 record. The Bobcats are currently in 8th place in the 3A North Division.
Senior Captain Clay Brumbaugh shared his thoughts about the upcoming game, “We’ve had a really good week of practice leading up to this game. I believe we are both physically and mentally prepared. Some of our injured players have returned, and for those who haven’t, others have really stepped in to fill their positions. We’re dedicating this game to Coach Hyruks father in law, who recently passed away. More is Now!”
The game kicks off at 7pm Friday Night. Tickets cost five dollars. Seasonal game passes are also valid. Come out to support the football team and show your Bobcat pride.
