On Friday, September 13th, the Bel Air High school Bobcats competed against the Elkton Golden Elks in their first home game of the season with a final score of 35-12 improving the Bobcat record to 2-0.
Devin Bowers scored 3 touchdowns and carried the ball 12 times for a total of 139 yards. Jack Lewis scored 2 touchdowns, received 1 catch for 7 yards and rushed for a total of 27 yards. Matt Wallace had 3 complete passes for a total of 86 yards. Sean Vono and Wallace combined to kick 5 extra points.
Mike Marshall, Bel Air Bobcats top tackler, had a total of 18 solo tackles and 7 assists, he also had one interception. Matt Kunkel also grabbed a pick. Brendon Yetter had 10 solo tackles and 2 assists. Caleb Rollins had 8 solo tackles and 2 assisting tackles. Cole McDonough stood out on special teams with only blocked punt of the game.
The next game will be away against Edgewood High School starting at 7 p.m.
