Athlete of the Week: Bryce McGuire, Swimming

Bryce McGuire is the Senior Captain of the Bel Air Varsity Swim Team. In the meet against Aberdeen and Patterson Mill, Bryce came in first in all his events. He dropped his 100 Yard Freestyle time from 1 minute to 56 seconds. This is incredibly fast for a high school student and college worthy. Bryce also dropped time in his 100 Yard Backstroke. He went from a 1:10 to a 1:08. In that same meet Bryce took part in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay where everyone swims a 100. The team was in second place and Bryce swam a 57 second 100 to bring the team to a first place comeback victory. He now has the fastest 100 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Backstroke time on the team. Bryce performed extremely well and is continuing to drop time and improve in his races.
