Voices of Equity Hosts Black History Month Contest

The Voices of Equity club hosted a door decorating contest to honor Black History Month. In this contest, each homeroom was responsible for decorating their door if they wanted to participate. This contest ended Wednesday, February 8 with the announcement of the winner on the Cat’s Eye.  

The overall winner was Mr. Roth, and his homeroom was awarded a donut party. To honor the inclusivity of Black History Month, each homeroom will receive a certificate and thank you. In addition, many specific awards were given out for teachers and their efforts.

Most Aesthetically Pleasing- Ms. Cap 

Best Bobcat Pride- Mr. Meixsell 

Most Original- Ms. Zorbach 

Most HR Involvement- Ms. Burstein 

Most Engaging- Ms. Mayo 

Best STEM- Ms. Long 

Most Inclusive- Ms. Barry 

Most Eye Catching- Ms. Will 

Coolest Theme- Ms. Willhelm 

Most Literature Inspired- Ms. Hackett 

Best Researched- Ms. Blackburn
