Bel Air High School Nation Honor Society has donated paper bags full of goods for the cancer, covid-19 and emergency room employees at Upper Chesapeake Hospital on Friday, January 21, 2022, to give them appreciation.  The bags were collected to go along with the message of a “day of Service” in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s birthday.

Nation Honor Society members prepared paper bags containing drinks, snacks, fuzzy socks and other things to make their day nicer. NHS delivered the bags on Friday, January, 23, 2022 to the Upper Chesapeake Hospital for the employees to show Bel Air High School’s appreciation during these rough times in the pandemic.

“I think it’s really cool that NHS is donating to employees at Upper Chesapeake to show Bel Air High School’s appreciation for all that they do for us,” said NHS member Angelina Graziano.

Although BAHS clubs closed due to covid, NHS has still worked valiantly to donate to local causes. NHS continues to work virtually together to help our community.

“We wanted to do something virtually because we can’t be together since NHS closed from covid,” stated Mrs. Blackburn, the NHS sponsor.
