Beginning today, Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 until Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, we will be collecting money in the cafeteria for a Pie in the Face competition between the teachers.

The money raised will be donated to the Gottschalk family, whose house burned down two days ago, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016. Senior Finn Gottschalk and freshman Max Gottschalk are both student athletes here at Bel Air High School.

Athletic Director Tony Blackburn says, “It’s so great that in less than an hour of announcing the fundraiser, we had over twenty teachers offer to participate, donating their time to help this good cause.”

The Pie in the Face will take place at halftime of the home Varsity Boys’ Basketball game against Perryville on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016.

“Any time of the year it is important to help each other, but especially this time of the year, with the holiday season just around the corner,” Blackburn states.
