Bel Air High School welcomes new faculty members for the 2016-2017 school year.

Ms. Choinski teaches social studies, and Ms. Forster works with special education.

Social studies teacher Ms. Choinski has had years of experience with teaching in different areas of education and is excited to teach here at Bel Air High School.

“I taught special education in Anne Arundel County Schools for four years and then I taught Social Studies in Howard County for six years,” says Choinski. “The past five years I have been home with my own three children. Now that we reside in Harford County, I am excited to be teaching here at Bel Air High School!”

With every new faculty member comes new hopes and goals for their time here at Bel Air High school.

“I hope to make a positive impact on all the students I teach this year.” Choinski states. “Hopefully we can both learn from each other. I already love the staff and the students here. Everyone has been so welcoming!”

Ms. Forster, the school’s new special education teacher, has also had her fair share of experience in teaching before coming to Bel Air.

“I taught in Delaware for three years before coming to BAHS.” Forster explains. “One year in Colonial School District as a fourth-grade general educator and special educator. Two years in Christina School District. The first year as a second-grade special educator and the second year as a Media Specialist.”

Ms. Forster hopes to call Bel Air High School home for many years to come, as she relates in the following quote:

“My hopes and goals are to be a part of the BAHS family for many years to come. I love my special education students and I love my working with my co-teachers.”

Bel Air High School would like to extend a warm welcome to these two new teachers as they are inducted into the BAHS family. The school is very excited to see what they will contribute to the student body and school community this year and all of the years to come!
