On Jan. 24, 2015, the Winter Ball will be held in the Bel Air High School cafeteria from 7-10 p.m.

Tickets to the Winter Ball will be on sale Monday Jan. 12 to Thursday, Jan. 22. Tickets will be on sale before and after school in room B208 and during lunch in the cafeteria. The cost is $20 per person.

The Winter Ball is a semi-formal type of dance, meaning that ladies should wear formal short or long dresses, and gentlemen should wear slacks, dress shirts and ties. Jackets are optional.

Mrs. McDonough, associated with the Winter Ball, stated, “We have a new theme this year that includes more props for the pictures, a bigger back drop, different drinks and snacks to some degree, all based off of last year’s requests.”

The Winter Ball is the school wide fundraiser for all 4 grade levels. All of the money is split up dependent upon the number of students from each class that attends the Ball. Kari Queen from Queen Bee Photography will be there that evening taking photos of anyone that wants them.

“All proceeds from this gets split amongst the classes as well,” said Mrs. McDonough.

In case unpredictable weather causes complications, the dance will be moved to Saturday, Jan. 31.
