The InTheGlow organization is sponsoring a prom dress giveaway on Sat., Mar. 5, 2014, at the Ramada Conference Center.

The event will be from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at 1700 Van Bibber Rd, Edgewood, MD 21040. You leave the event ready for prom with a dress and accessories for the small donation of $10 to InTheGlow and a high school ID. Each girl will leave with a gift bag sponsored by various local salons and businesses.

DressYourGlow is a campaign collecting formal/semi-formal dresses, accessories, shoes and handbags to be repurposed for young ladies attending homecoming and prom events. You can register for this campaign’s event online at www.BeTheGlow.com after clicking on the DressYourGlow tab.

InTheGlow’s goal is to empower young women with positivity and optimism to create a beautiful self-image from the inside out. The DressYourGlow campaign runs on the concept of, “paying it forward,” if you borrow a dress, you should return it so others can enjoy it in the future and the organization can continue to serve the community.

Over 1000 dresses have been collected to be borrowed. Prom vendors will be present and each girl will leave with a dress and other gifts.
