IHOP Offically Opens to Public

On Tue., Feb. 25, 2014, the International House of Pancakes in Bel Air opened for to the public for the first time at 6 A.M. After days of orientation and a “dry run” day, IHOP is now open for business!

The restaurant is famous for their delicious buttermilk pancakes and crepes, but they are also serving many dinner and lunch meals including the new delicious savory crepes.

On Sun., Feb. 23, IHOP was open from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. to family and friends of the employees. The family and friends that were invited enjoyed free food off of the select items menu. At the end of the day, IHOP grossed $5,000 worth of food that was served to the guests.

On Fri., Mar. 4 (a.k.a. National Pancake Day), IHOP took donations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and served a stack of 3 pancakes to the guests for free.

An IHOP employee said that, “National Pancake Day was a success and IHOP was able to raise a lot of money for [the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society]. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes!”
