World War Z will be released on April 16, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. World

War Z is going to be a co-op third person shooter. This game is going to have Impressive swarms of undead, climbing buildings, jumping from great heights, and generally just trying to survive. This game is going to have an open world with online capabilities. Almost like the world of Fallout 76, there is going to be another team of four players somewhere else in the same world as you. This adds a whole new level of danger when exploring the map, set in the same world as the Brad Pitt movie. There will be customizable classes, multiple game modes, and impressive gore physics. This game is available for pre-order at GameStop.

  • Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on April 23, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Mortal Kombat 11 will continue the Mortal Kombat series, having much of the same features as previous games. Expect the returns of Klassic Fighters, gory and over-the-top finishers, incredible graphics, and much more. Mortal Kombat 11 will include a cinematic story that continues the 25-year-long story told across all the previous Mortal Kombat games. While the base game is very similar to previous Mortal Kombat’s, Mortal Kombat 11 will have custom character variations that provide a way to customize fighters to “make them your own”. This game is available for pre-order on Amazon UK and Amazon US.

  • Days Gone

Days Gone will be released on April 26, 2019 as a PS4 Exclusive. This is going to be another post-apocalyptic survival game, just like World War Z is expected to be. The player will have to navigate a world overrun with zombie-like enemies, as well as humans who could all be just as hostile. Days Gone will be similar to a game like DayZ or Dying Light. Having multiple enemy groups, the player will have the ability to lead zombie hoards into an enemy’s base/camp to thin out the battle field, leaving fewer enemies for the player to defend themselves against. This game is available for pre-order on Amazon UK and Amazon US.

  • Rage 2

Rage 2 will be released on May 14, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Rage 2 will be the sequel to Rage, a game released on November 17, 2010, currently rated a 7/10 on steam. Like Rage, Rage 2 will be a first-person shooter created by Bethesda. Bethesda is known for most of their games having an open world and that will not change in Rage 2. Rage 2 will be “gleefully nasty, with over-the-top action” according to Dominic Preston from Tech Advisor. There will be many vehicles that will give of a kind of Mad Max vibe. This game is available for pre-order on Amazon UK and Amazon US.

  • The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds will be released at some point in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. After a few teasers, Obsidian revealed The Outer Worlds at the Game Awards 2018. The open-world shooter will take place in a corporate-run colony on the edge of the galaxy. The player plays as a colonist who stumbles upon a conspiracy that could destroy the whole colony and it is down to them to thwart it. With this game being released by Obsidian, players can expect to have to make story altering decisions throughout the game that will affect the outcome, making each playthrough slightly different. The Outer Worlds is not yet available for pre-order.
