VIRAL:

  • #DemDebate: The 2016 presidential candidates for the Democratic Party was held this week and broadcasted live by CNN. Topics discussed included the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement, government mandated healthcare, the price of college tuition, drug laws, and, yes, Hillary Clinton’s email controversy. Besides Clinton and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, also present on stage was Maryland’s very own Martin O’Malley along with Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island and Missouri’s Jim Webb. To the disappointment of some, current Vice President, Joe Biden, did not enter the race.
  • Steve Jobs: A biopic of the late Apple CEO was released this past weekend, the second major film about his life story (the first being 2013’s ) While receiving mostly positive reviews, the film only grossed $0.5m at the box office and was criticized by Apple employees skeptical of its accuracy.
